i mean, i know the disease can spread, but still...in pve things die too quickly for it to matter, and in pvp there are just too many better options.
not to mention unless it's put on a fc mes it seems like interrupt material to me...

Disease actually spreads pretty quickly (quick enough to actually matter) and, although it's not meta anymore, at one time Tainted Flesh Mes heroes were really good defense. Every once in a while (just to fck around), I'll use a FC Taint Mes in PvE. You'd be surprised what it can do.

Rotting Flesh is good for low level necros, but then again so are things like taking minion spells with no way to heal them or turn them into bombs, which will get you laughed at in end-game builds.

Strength of Honor (PvE). I know people don't actually think it's a bad skill now, but I think many underestimate how good it actually is.

Is necrosis considered underrated? I even echo it sometimes.

Water Trident.
This skill used to be deadly before EoTN came out and introduced Aura of Stability. It's still a great skill, but very underrated as Aura of Stability can only be put on one person at a time.

Virulence. Recently I took the RA bounty but refused to go with my standard(and boring) Corrupt Enchantments build. After consulting Guild Wiki I decided I would make a build based on Virulence. As a Necro its rather easy to layer on conditions but I needed that extra pazazz. Then I remembered Glyph of Immolation and Mark of Rodgort. Hijinks ensued. Unless a team had 2 Monks their healer died quickly. Of course I only have 60 AC and my HP is only so high. But I died for the lolz so every death was worth it.

I don't care if you are a smiter monk, this skill belongs on your bar. Any monk without PS needs to stop playing a monk.
|
My thoughts exactly. I won't team with any PuG monk in HM unless he takes PS. I don't demand it but if I don't see it I'll just leave the group. I'm not about to pull the weight of 2 monks. All I see are HB bars with ALL HEALS. It blows my mind how these monks think they can out heal HM damage. Wishful thinking.

I run it on hammer warriors when I guest for lower rank guilds and have the room to goof off a bit. I lost track of the amount of flaggers I have solo'd because of that skill.

This is so true. I Monk quite often and there are WAY to many idiots who just bring heals and then spam them, then complain about their low energy. Seriously, learn to bring prots and manage energy better.

Seeing as this is PvE throw in divine spirit and you can spam it for 1 energy every second.

The questions is do you use Glimmer of Light on recharge always? LS is also 1/4s cast but counter dazed better since you remove it. People will always hit through LS no matter what and it gives sufficient cushion before your Patient Spirit heals. The only way I see Glimmer outperform LS is under heavy degen hex but it is still inferior in that department compared to other elites out there.

I love PS. It's never off my bar. That being said, I've actually had to snap at various PUG groups "If you all insist on balling under massive AoE damage, all the damage mitigation in the world won't save you!" I can't outprot that. --;

Glimmer of Light is pretty pants.
If a target is below 50% health, WoH is far better. If a person is above 50% health, Patient Spirit is better.
If you just have Patient Spirit and WoH, or even Life Sheath, you are far more effective as a monk then you would be with Glimmer of Light.
I believe that Shared Burden is underrated.

Active spreading, goes well with Tainted Flesh. 15e is a big cost, but it is not too much considering soul reaping etc.
Also, lolglimmerisbad. If interrupts/daze are such a problem for you, run HB. zzzz
